There are a lot of exciting wine events happening now in Stockholm and our interns Raphaël, Julian and Nikhil had a chance to visit Slovak Wine Tasting!

We asked Raphaël to share his experience and insights after this wine tasting:

Attending this tasting with Nikhil and Julian was a real pleasure. It was held in a charming wine bar in Östermalm, where the organisers provided an opportunity to meet some impressive wine producers from Slovakia. Amidst the convivial atmosphere, I had the chance to discover the Duraj varietal — a blend of Kékportó (Portugais bleu) and St. Laurent, producing structured red wines with delightful notes of black cherries and dark chocolate.

Their Muscat was equally enjoyable, with a captivating nose and refreshing hints of white flowers and pear. Finally, the Tokaj was a delightful surprise, with its refreshing honey and citrus notes lingering on the finish.

All three concluded that overall, it was a rewarding experience, offering a glimpse into the passion and dedication of these talented individuals.

We are looking forward to attending many more Wine Tastings and meeting great producers from all over the world in the upcoming months.

Skål!
