On the 24th of January 2025, we launched a new beer! You can now find and buy Flemish Red Ale XII produced by SOSAB (Science Of Sour Ale Brewring) company at Systembolaget stores!
Information about the product XII FLEMISH RED ALE
This beer has a mildly sweet-sour character, resulting from a blend of young and old ‘Foederbier’ and young brown ale, with an alcohol content of 5.2%.
It offers a pleasant aroma of green apple, redcurrant, chocolate, orange peel, caramel, apple cider vinegar, and currant bread. Aged for 12 months in wooden barrels, it develops its distinctive aromas. The flavor is well-rounded, with alternating hints of sweetness and tartness.
Preferably served at 6-8°C as a paring drink to pork or lamb dishes, quiche with shrimp, tiramisu or semi-hard cheeses like Cheddar.
