Last week, Simon attended FENAVIN – the Spanish wine industry’s most important global trade fair – in Ciudad Real, Spain. Not only did he get to meet with Spanish producers with great potential, but he also got to experience the Spanish heat wave: 44 ⁰C! A bit of a chock for a Swede who’s used to a slightly lower average temperature in the month of May..! Over 1000 brands were on display at FENAVIN, including an increasing amount of organic wines which is always of interest to us here at Concealed Wines. The most represented Spanish wine regions were Castile-La Mancha, Castile-Leon, followed by Catalonia. So overall, Simon had a very successful (and hot!) trip.
